This exhibition of a series of photos created in collaboration between Edward von Lõngus and photographer Ruudu Rahumaru will open in the library and lobby of Pärnu College of the University of Tartu. Visitors will be greeted by sly Teletubbies inspired by Stanley Kubrick’s dystopian cult film A Clockwork Orange.
This unique photo series is about the artist’s street art tour in Europe, which formed part of the EV100 international programme. In addition to the official programme, the artist’s trips included an ‘off-programme’, wherein he left his message on uncoordinated city walls. We can only take part in the artist’s journey and creative process through the photographs of Rahumaru, who was the only person the mysterious artist trusted to document his activities.
A total of 11 European capitals were visited and marked: Berlin, Brussels, Rome, Helsinki, Copenhagen, Paris, Budapest, Vilnius, London, Vienna and Riga. In addition, some pieces found their way into the exhibition from Lõngus’ largest review exhibition, ‘Cathedral of Doomsday’.
The exhibition is being curated by NOAR.eu.
