Art Week traditionally ends on the town’s central square. Big Art Day has become an integral part of Art Week, being one of the largest open-air events on the local contemporary art scene and offering the audience the opportunity to dive into art and cultural life. Artists, art organisations and galleries present their work and performances, and musical acts and fun workshops and meetings with artists take place. Many new works and artistic ideas are born.
This time the participants in Big Art Day are Pärnu City Gallery, the Diverse Universe performance festival, Non Grata, Art & Tonic, Positive Gallery, Tartu Art House, IN Graphics/Printmaking IN, ‘Fideofest’ Pärnu Film and Video Festival, Bach Gallery, A-Art Gallery, Okapi Gallery and NOAR.eu.
